We love rainbows, we love unicorns, but most importantly, we love the idea that love is love, regardless. With that said, Nike will releasing these new Flyknit Racer sneakers in June 2017 in support of the LGBT community. Featuring a rainbow-hued tick on the outside and another pink tick (oh, how apt!) on the inside of the sneaker, there’s no word yet if Nike stores in Singapore will be carrying these beauties.

Then again, there’s always online shopping (buy online via Nike US and ship over using Borderlinx, for example) and if I’m extremely quiet come June, you’ll know why.

Dior Lily versus Lady Dior

For this new edition of Bag Versus, we have compared two Dior bags: the iconic Lady Dior and the newest Lily Bag. Both bags features the cannage pattern, although there are other materials also available. They also have top handles and adjustable/removable shoulder strap.

Although Dior currently has four sizes, Micro, Mini, Medium and Large, (soon it will be 5, with the addition of the Small size) the Mini size is the best to compare to the Lily Bag. Measuring at 6.7″ W x 5.9″ H x 2.8″ D. The top opens with a flap top that is inserted inside the bag. It can be worn three ways, by hand, on the shoulder or across the body. The interior is made of jacquard fabric and has a zipped pocket. Prices vary depending on materials used, the Cannage pattern in lambskin is priced at $3,100.00 (USD)

Dior’s newest offering is the Lily Bag from the Fall/Winter 2016 Collection. It looks similar to the Lady Dior bag, only this one has a bowling shape. The bag measures at 7.7″ W x 6.3″ H x 3.7″ D. This bag can also be carried by hand, on the shoulder and across the body. The interior is made of soft lambskin and has 2 long side pockets. The Lily starts at $3,000.00 (USD) for the Cannage in lambskin. Other materials include Alligator, Dior print fabric, and pony-effect calfskin.

Conclusion

Although the Lady Dior remains a classic piece, the Lily wins this round as it has more style and elegance. The bag’s feminine touch has a lovely look. The rounded shape makes it more interesting which is perfect to use from day to night.

Rihanna Launches Three New Colors for Puma Fenty Creepers

With Rihanna as creative director and global ambassador,Puma has been pumping out sales with each new release of the pop superstar’s products. Especially so, the Creeper style she created for her Fenty collection with the popular sports brand has exploded each time a new wave was released and made available for purchase, selling out almost immediately every time. This was the first shoe style Rihanna created for her Fenty division, and between her celebrity prestige and fashion know-how, there’s no question as to why this style has caused such a ruckus. It has been an unfortunate time for those who weren’t able to snag up a pair of the hot kicks, and as such there has been a social media uproar.

It seems that the singer has heard those fashion followers’ desperate cries for Creepers of their own, as she has just announced that there will be some more colors of the shoe designs; they will be released just in time for summer.

This time around, the shoes that have created such a widespread panic will be reconfigured with three new colorways. There will be a totally white variant, fabricated with a shiny patent leather, and two suede options. One will be created in green and featured with a Bordeaux wine colored Puma stripe, and the other will be created in black, featuring the same stripe but in a smooth black satin.

The colorways have been aptly named, respectively, “Basket Creeper Glo,” “Green-Bordeaux,” and “Black Satin.” Much to everyone’s satisfaction, everything else about the Puma Creeper shoes is the same as the first waves; customers will still be getting that ’80s-’90s inspired, rockabilly thick sole that was just as popular than as it suddenly is now.

These new styles will be sold exclusively on Puma’s online store. You will find that each pair of shoes will retail for $150 – as long as you can get online and checked out fast enough! Each new wave of these Puma Fenty Creepers has sold out very quickly, but if you are one of the lucky ones who scoops up these craze-inducing shoes, you will be able to wear them this summer, as they will be coming out on May 26 – less than a week away!
